MDS provides a variety of development schemes with a difference, with the aim of accelerating careers within the food and horticultural supply chain.
MDS is a partnership of companies that aims to equip individuals with the experience, training and mindset to succeed, so that they have the confidence and ability to rapidly advance to their desired roles within the industry.
The membership includes growers, suppliers and retailers of vegetables, salads, meat products and agrochemicals as well as agronomy specialists.
Our development schemes are unique in that they provide individuals with the experience of multiple roles of real responsibility in a variety of businesses within the food and horticultural supply chain. As well as real and practical experience within the industry individuals on our Graduate Scheme and the Management and Leadership programme will gain an Operations and Department Manager L5 qualification, accredited by the Chartered Management Institute and developed with the industry in mind. Our operations and development scheme will result in individuals gaining a Supply Chain Leader L3 qualification. All of our programmes are designed to fast-track your career within the industry and provide our Members with an opportunity to recruit talented, capable and successful individuals.
